100th post!

Hi,

Our Creative Corner - Over the Edge (the flower and the shoes peeking over the the edge of the circle die)

Getting Ahead ...

Evening!

Thankfully I don't need to make an emergency 70th Birthday card tonight as my husband has checked with his mum and Uncle Brian is 69 this year - so the card I made last night has gone safely in the post today.

I've just finished this years first Christmas card, as with every other year the intention is to get ahead - we'll see.

I think I'll try and swap this picture tomorrow as it's a really nice colour - but it never picks up properly in the evening.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Lollypop Crafts - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Winter Blues
For Fun  - I Love Snow
Winter Wonderland - A Christmas Card
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Di's Digital Designs - All About Snow

Thanks for looking!!

Birthday Card for a Guy!

Evening!!

I've had a very productive couple of days and got loads of stuff crossed off my to-do list. However my list of cards I need to make is starting to grow as I've got a lot of birthdays coming up over the next couple of weeks.

I also have two new followers - so HELLO to Kath and Vicky!!

I wanted to share with you this evening a card I've made for my (Husbands) Uncle Brian.  Although we've just been debating the possibility that Brain is actually 70 this year which will means tomorrow night you will find me hurriedly making a different card which acknowledges this great age, rather than this "young at heart" card I've made for him.  My money is on him only being 68, however my husband will be making an emergency call to his mum tomorrow to check!!

The cute little tickets were a freebie I got from Free Digital Stamps ages and ages ago and are by mudmaven.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Lollipop Crafts - Anything Goes
The Pixie Cottage - Sketch
Paper Sundaes - Birthdays
Aud's Sentiments - Use the word "Happy"
Stamping For the Weekend - Colour Combo

Thanks for looking!

Good Luck Card

Hi,

I've had no internet for almost two weeks as my router(?) was broken, but I'm back!  I did try to post via blogger mobile - but it wouldn't upload my post.

I made this card about two weeks ago for friend at work who was leaving us to go and live and work in London.

I used some glossy accents on the four leaf clover and had a go doing a swirly pattern with my Bazzill jewel templates.  The lovely papers were free in a magazine, and the image is Pollycraft.

I'd like to enter this card in to the following challenges:

Do You Stack Up - Layers
If The Shoe Fits - Anything Goes
Saturday Challenge - 3 in a row (swirls, gems and ribbon)
Allsorts - Anything Goes
Bee Crafty - Miss You

Thanks for looking - enjoy the rest of your weekend.

More than ice-cream?

Afternoon!

Hope you're all having a nice day.  My darling children have been not so darling this morning so while they nap I've had a nice peaceful play with my crafty bits!

I've made my husbands valentines card today, which is extremely organised for me.  Let's hope he doesn't have have a sneak peek at my blog!  I can now put my efforts into winning our valentines present competition - which is to find each other the most rubbish gift to do with the city we live in for under a fiver.   Should be fun!

Anyway here's the card.  I jumped for joy when I saw this digi set (from Pollycraft) as it's so perfect for me; given my most favourite thing ever is ice-cream (hence the tub of half-baked on my blog where most people have a picture of their face!)

I wanted to do something a little bit different to the traditional valentines card, as my anniversary card last week was red, so when I found this piece of spotty paper left over from a card last year I though it was prefect!

I've also gone for a clean and simple look - more down to the fact that I had nothing to go on it and I've banned myself from buying anything from a craft store for February as I spent ridiculous amounts in January! Luckily I found this digi on the last day of January, and promptly clicked buy along with a few others!!   Let's see how far into February I get before I convince myself I NEED something!!

Anyway I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Pollycraft - Favourite Things - Ice-cream
The Pixie Cottage - Clean and Simple + Sketch
Do You Stack Up - Anything Goes
Catch the Bug - Colour Inspiration
Paper Sundaes - Valentines
Ladybug Challenge - He Love's Me, He Loves me Not
The Stamping Boutique - Valentines
Little Miss Muffet - Valentines and Love
Freshly Brewed - Love
